This delicious, chewy caramel is infused with the mouth-watering flavors of honey bun, with a creamy center and hints of cinnamon throughout. Honey Bun Cow Tales® are our special way of celebrating the 40th anniversary of our iconic Cow Tales® and National Caramel Day on April 5. You can find this new flavor at local retailers such as Dollar Tree and Food Lion, with a full list of retailers via our store locator. In addition, caramel lovers can also purchase the candy online from our online store or within our Amazon Storefront. Honey Bun Cow Tales® are available in 1 oz. and 4 oz. Minis peg bags. In our 129th year in the candy business, we continue to uphold our longstanding family tradition and create both new and original flavors that capture the taste buds of generations, from great-grandparents to great-grandchildren. Our confections are made with real milk and a wheat-based recipe and unlike other caramels, our special formula ensures a uniquely chewy consistency without the stickiness. Name: Joann Ogle Job/title: Operator Number of years employed by Goetze’s: 4 years What positions have you worked on during your time at Goetze's: Operator, this has been my position since I started here at Goetze. Caramel Creams or Cow Tales – if you had to pick one, which would it be and why? Caramel Creams, I love the cream in the center of the caramel creams better. Do you have any memories with our products growing up? My favorite was the tray packs, my dad would get them from a store by my grandmoms house. There were a real treat. How do you eat your Caramel Creams? (eg: center first, all in one bite) I eat them all in one bite. When I was a kid I would pop the center out and eat that first, the eat the caramel. Favorite Goetze’s flavor? There are many that I enjoy. Caramel Apple and Oreo are my favorite. Any special recipes using our product that you can share? I like to cut pieces of Oreo Cow Tales and put it in my caramel ice cream. Dream Caramel Creams/Cow Tales flavor or partnership: Blueberry Cream or Pineapple. If you could describe your experience at Goetze’s in one word, what would it be? Awesome! Most memorable moment at work: The Christmas party. I was completely amazed how they cared so much about the employees that they were recognized people and attendance, years of service. The sense of being together as a team. What makes being part of Goetze's Candy special that you have chosen a career here? Family- when I first started here, I didn't know much about working in an office, but I had amazing coworkers that helped me along the way. I feel blessed to have each one of them. What does it mean to be a part of the team? Walking together. Sharing ideas, being included in the daily process. Is there a quote that you live by that has helped you grow in your career? The future depends on what you do today. |
