Name: Steven Gardner Job/title: Maintenance Mechanic, Machinist, Welder Number of years employed by Goetze’s: 14.5 years What positions have you worked on during your time at Goetze's: Maintenance Caramel Creams or Cow Tales – if you had to pick one, which would it be and why? Cow Tales, because it's a bit more manageable to eat. Do you have any memories with our products growing up? It was one of my Grandparents favorite candies when I was young and they are still around. How do you eat your Caramel Creams? (eg: center first, all in one bite) All or nothing! Favorite Goetze’s flavor? Brownie! Any special recipes using our product that you can share? Not really, I don't cook much. Dream Caramel Creams/Cow Tales flavor or partnership: Oreo was good, let's get Kit Kat involved! If you could describe your experience at Goetze’s in one word, what would it be? Gratifying Most memorable moment at work: When we had the new coconut oil silo erected! What makes being part of Goetze's Candy special that you have chosen a career here? It feels like a second family outside of home! What does it mean to be a part of the team? It feels like I am apart of something bigger than myself, helping a family legacy thrive for future generations. Is there a quote that you live by that has helped you grow in your career? My father, when I was young, would always say "can't never could" when I would tell him I couldn't do something, meaning you can do anything well, as long as you apply yourself!
