BALTIMORE, MD (October 26, 2018) — Goetze’s Candy Company partnered with Monument City Brewing to create the limited edition ‘Bulls-Eye’ beer. The idea began when Rob Goss of Whitey’s Liquors was eating a handful of Goetze’s Caramel Creams® candy, and decided to text Kennith Praay, co-founder of Monument City Brewing, to throw out the idea of brewing a beer using the iconic candies.
A portion of the proceeds from the beer sales was also donated to MCVET, totaling $960.00. Goetze’s Candy Company matched the donation, and also included donations from candy sold during the beer launch party to donate $1,075.00 to MCVET. In total, this event brought in over $2,000 in charity and more than 100 articles of clothing to help homeless veterans. Goetze’s Candy Co. support a variety of local charities and organizations in Baltimore to strengthen the community. Some of the organizations that Goetze's Candy Co. has partnered with include the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Paul’s Place Outreach, and Baltimore Tree Trust among others.
