Grill your chicken with this homemade barbecue sauce recipe! Made with Caramel Creams®, this sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and spice.
ingredients
- 30 Vanilla Caramel Creams®
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbs light brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
instructions
- Add ketchup, water, vinegar, sugar, pepper, mustard, and Worcestershire to a heavy bottom pot and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and add the Caramel Creams®. Keep stirring until combined, making sure the sauce does not come back to a simmer. Once combined, take off the heat, add the vanilla extract, and stir until combined.
- Coat your cooked meat with the BBQ sauce at the end of the grilling time.
