GOETZE’S CANDY COMPANY CELEBRATES NATIONAL CANDY MONTH WITH RETURN OF CARAMEL CREAMS® ALE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GUINNESS OPEN GATE BREWERY BALTIMORE
Second annual collaboration brings back the crowd-favorite vanilla cream ale, available exclusively at the Halethorpe brewery

In celebration of National Candy Month, two iconic Baltimore brands, Goetze’s Candy Company and Guinness Open Gate Brewery Baltimore, are reuniting to bring back a fan favorite collaboration. Following its popular debut last summer, the Caramel Creams® Ale is making its return to the taproom this June at Guinness Open Gate Brewery Baltimore.
Originally created as a limited-edition brew in 2024, the 4.5% ABV cream ale blends its smooth richness with the nostalgic flavor of Goetze’s signature vanilla cream. Crafted in the 10-barrel innovation brewery onsite, the classic cream ale base was brewed with the same real vanilla found in Goetze’s iconic Caramel Creams®. The result is a toasty, slightly sweet ale that’s both refreshing and indulgent, perfect for summer sipping.
“We’re thrilled to bring Caramel Creams® Ale back for a second year, especially as we celebrate National Candy Month and the 130th anniversary of Goetze’s Candy Company,” said Mitchell Goetze, CEO of Goetze’s Candy Co., Inc. “This collaboration with Guinness is a true hometown favorite. It’s a toast to Baltimore, to tradition, and to everyone who loves candy and locally-brewed beer.”
Caramel Creams® Ale will be available exclusively at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery Baltimore in Halethorpe, Maryland, on draught and for purchase in 4-packs to-go, for a limited time only while supplies last.
