In August 2014, Goetze’s Candy Company launched a promotion in which consumers can trade in empty Goetze’s Candy wrappers and bags in exchange for branded merchandise. The promotion is based on a points system in which each Goetze product wrapper or bag is assigned a point value and the points can be collected towards free Goetze merchandise. The promotion includes Goetze’s two brands: Caramel Creams® and Cow Tales®, each offering various items in exchange for its own branded wrappers and bags.
Kicking off the promotion, Caramel Creams® fans can exchange Caramel Creams® wrappers and bags for “Sweet Stuff” such as a sport pack, t-shirt, keychain, notebook, and even an apron featuring the iconic wrapped image of a twist wrapped Caramel Creams®. Cow Tales® “Sweet Swag” includes a classic baseball cap, custom Cow Tales® keychain, 8GB USB drive, the famous collectors’ tumblers, and a limited-edition Cow Tales® silk tie.
