Made With Chocolate Cow Tales®
Perfect with hot cocoa or a cold glass of milk, these Chocolate Crispy Treats are delicious and super easy to make! You will love them!
Make The BitsUnwrap and chop Chocolate Cow Tales® into bits about the size of a peanut. It is quick and easy to stack the unwrapped Chocolate Cow Tales® and slice them all at once. Set the Chocolate Cow Tales® bits aside.
Melt the MarshmallowsMelt the butter over medium heat. The butter will coat the pan and help to keep the marshmallows from sticking to it. Once the butter is melted, reduce the heat to low and stir in the marshmallows until they are completely melted. Turn off the stove and stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry IngredientsMix in the cocoa rice cereal, followed by most of the Chocolate Cow Tales® bits. Save some pieces for the top. The Chocolate Cow Tales® bits will partially melt, so gently fold them into the mix.
Final StepScoop the mix into a greased 8 x 8in baking pan. Sprinkle the remainder of Chocolate Cow Tales&Reg; across the top. Using a piece of parchment paper, gently press the mixture into the pan. Let the cocoa treats cool to room temperature and then slice them into 1-inch squares for serving. Do not refrigerate or the caramel will harden and the treats will no-longer be gooey.
